About

I studied mathematics, and it never really left. Most of what I do still starts the same way: look for the structure, name the parts, then build. For a while that meant teaching: years of walking students through problems until the shape of a solution became visible to them. It taught me to explain things plainly, which turns out to be most of software engineering.

I write code for a living. I've built web products and internal tools as a full-stack engineer, and these days most of my work happens alongside AI agents: designing the systems they operate in, giving them tools, and learning where they are brilliant and where they quietly fall apart. I work remotely from Istanbul.

The other half of my time goes to art. I've produced music and written soundtracks for a few art films; more recently I've been drawing with algorithms and, increasingly, with AI in the loop. I believe art is something people make, and that belief is exactly why the border between art and machines interests me. I'd rather understand it than argue about it.

This site is where I write down what I learn from all of that: code, math, and the occasional drawing made of lines. If any of it is useful to you, or you just want to talk, send me an email.
